How to ADHD | Channel Trailer video
How to ADHD is an educational Youtube channel celebrating Neurodiversity and teaching people how to lean into their strengths when it comes to ADHD.
I joined the How to ADHD team 4 years ago, and have been the only creative director since its inception. In that time I worked to vastly increase our reach by rebranding the entire Youtube channel which quintupled our watchtime and subscriber count.
I created a brain character that was non-binary, and nonracial to resonate with our audience so anyone with ADHD can feel connected, despite any personal differences. Along with that, I also altered the “bubbly and funny” style to be more authentic and emotional, so our host would be seen more for their amazing knowledge, rather than their gender. Now How to ADHD is the go to resource on social media for helping with ADHD struggles.
Leading a team of creatives, and managing the team’s needs by making sure our workplace was a safe and mental health friendly workplace were some of my most significant duties, though I wore many more hats in this role… My responsibilities also included driving the social media content, hire, ideate, and lead content creation for other sources, such as merch. I also managed sponsorships and created the narrative for how to present their branding and image within our content.
Featured is the channel trailer used for the How to ADHD channel. It was created and presented as a highlight of our content for a talk at Amazon about Neurodiversity in the workplace.
